Just posted a pair of related articles (links below) about a new study that finds coffee drinkers pay nearly 20% more on average for life insurance, and 8 tips from an agent on how to "game" a life insurance paramedical exam to improve results – and therefore premium rates.
It got me to wondering what kind advice agents are (or should be) providing to applicants in advance of their paramedical exam?
Sure there are some no-brainers – no caffeine or alcohol, limit salt in the 24 hours before an exam, etc. – but what are some other tips you provide to applicants that might help them earn that better rate? Best day and time of day? When to cancel?
