Aetna new rates for MD - stick a fork in them

Just got the broker alert minutes ago for the new MD rates effective March 1.

Age bracket and $2,500 deductible plan.

30-34: old rate $511 - new rate $600
35-39: old rate $555 - new rate $652
40-44: old rate $616 - new rate $724
45-49: old rate $693 - new rate $814

Let's not forget about that 50-59 year old family - $1,160 in March.

It's over. Anyone here selling health knows you're not touching a $600/mo plan for a 30 year old family. That's actually $200 over what they can typically afford.

I used to at least be able to throw some singles in there but there won't be any taker for singe female age 35 for $239.

Well...our rates (Ohio) are still ridiculously low. I can't take it any more...
