Aetna Senior Products

Is it just me, or are they having a serious disconnect between policy issuance and premium billing?

For me having to call them on double billing, confused effective dates, odd billing amounts and bsc csrs has been the biggest time waster this season.
 
Heard from my friends that Aetna is popular in the Midwest region, they didn't complain about billings though.
 
I've never had issued with their billing on MAPD for obvious reasons. I've never sold their med supps.

What you're saying though is exactly right for their FE side. Operations are awful from billing to customer service.

Yeah, I should have specified..Med Supp and FE. It's an entirely different world than the MA and pdp, from which I only hear positive comments.
 
Medsupp a total different division than Mapd.They have not improved I see on medsupp side.I quit using them 2yrs ago after I went round and round with them on a guaranteed T65 app.In the middle of the fiasco, they changed companies, the price went up, told the client to move on.If we are having this many problems getting you enrolled, imagine what it will be like working with them when it comes to claims or csr.It really was a nightmare.
