I'm not one to complain about the questions, they just need to lower the passing score to 80%.
I passed on the first try but I actually read this year. In the past I never read anything. And I passed with a 90%.
That shouldn't be the case with an agent who knows their s hit and has been in the biz for over a decade.
Just lower the passing grade. I bet we see that next year.
Agreed. The President of my agency has been in the health insurance (Med Supp) business for 27 years, and she "failed" (I use quotes, because for those two percentages to be failing grades on a test is a joke, in and of itself) it two times in a row with an 86% and an 88%.
She is a literal WHIZ with anything insurance related. This test was designed to thin out agents. Call me a conspiracy theorist. I'll gladly be marked with it, because this was a super shady test, and I know there's a sinister reason for it.
The whole point of an ethnical test is to give people information to read and then test them on THAT information. Not information that can't be found ANYWHERE.
This test was the equivalent of giving people information to read, like....."Dave has 5 cars. Three of them are Maseratis, and 2 are Bentleys. Mike likes Dave's cars a lot. Dave lives in Austin, Tx, and likes to read." Question: "How fast did Dave's wife drive one of his Maseratis?" Like, wtf???
This test was probably written by some secret Bernie "Stalin" Sanders-loving Commie liberal that hates the insurance industry, and agents. I think it's time for a few people inside AHIP to take those ethics classes that they love to have us mandatorily take.
