AMS360 Vs. Quomation

I am on ams360, and I honestly don't like it. It is complicated, expensive and filled with junk fees during setup. It is in my opinion not a great system. Chances are I will be switching to applied or matrix in the next few months and moving everything over.

I am sure that I am not using it to its potential but I just don't have the patience.

We're nearly our 1st year as independent and don't use any management system and it's not a problem yet.

What I've gathered is AMS360 is good...however we use EZLynx for rating and I'm curious to see their system...

we don't plan on purchasing a system until 2-3 years in.

Not sure how you can go this long without a management system much less another 2-3 years....

How to you keep your clients straight? Commissions? Billing? Customer contacts? X-dates? renewals?

A GOOD management system is a VITAL KEY in preventing E&O claims, IF you update your files everytime you speak with a client or they make a change, or you document that the client refused a coverage.

Do you have any producers? How to you track/manage them? If I was a producer, I wouldnt work for an agency without one.

I pay like $150 a month for my rater AND management system with quomation. It makes a WORLD of difference, for what LITTLE it cost, and actually saves you time in the long run.
