I see that many of you have had the same experience with ALeadSource as I have. They fail to deliver, plain and simple. I too, have requested a refund. They said they would issue one and did not. I have a formal complaint on file with the BBB. Surprise, surprise, ALS didn't even bother to respond. ALS has pulled their website. They are a total scam and fraud. Does anyone have any additional contact information for the company? Any advice for avenues of collection? I'm like most of you, I am an independent advisor. This money is out of my pocket... and I would like to direct it towards building my business.

I have had a tremendous amount of luck with doing my direct mail lead generation with The Directory,Inc. in TX. My response rate has been very impressive and they have a company that works in conjunction with them that does appointment setting. I spoke with a Micheal and he seem to have this persona as if he #%@! didnt stink and that he didnt need my business and they will be closed for new business soon ????????? I was like WOW ! You should try our Annuity leads, we've employed more stringent quality control on the leads.
Additionally we dial the leads to remove those with disconnected / non-working numbers.

YEAH RIGHT!!!!! Tell that to the 10 out of 20 leads you guys sent me once that had disconnected numbers....


The sad thing is that the good leads actually are good! And if they where exclusive the annuity leads would be worth paying $50 a piece for. But you want to sell info to multiple agents and piss off the client with 15 phone calls in one day!!

They seem like a joke, who really cares if they a vendor for metlife and JH?

Their site give you absolutely NO information, NO pricing, No address, NO people.

Seems like a lot to hide, If it was so good they would have more to say about it other then generic statements about leads and appot setters.

From their site they are pretty much just saying "our claim to fame is that we sold leads to JH and metlife".

One might even consider obama to be more transparent.

There is no such thing as a reputable annuity appointment source. The leads you are looking for DO NOT RESPOND TO THAT TYPE OF MARKETING.

Annuity appointment setting outfits have looted agents over the years (just google annuity appointment scam ) and we are partly responsible. We continue to send $1000-$2000 to them.

There are many of them out there, but they all work the same template,

1. Set up shop and website.
2. Promise to get you appointment with people with CDs, 401k or annuities that are about to mature.
3. Collect $1000-$2000 from 50-100 agents via check only.
4. As soon as word is out that they are a scam, they abandone operation.
5. They start step 1 all over with different name, and again and again..........

I took them up on their free lead offer for health insurance leads. The few people I got ahold of were very pissed. Some sounded like they were at the brink of nervous breakdown because of the number of agents calling them. My guess is they are recycled from another lead company.
