Anti-fraud Software?

Hi gang, I've been reading some technology posts and its like this is a great community.

I'm a software engineer looking to build software for the anti-fraud and forensic markets.

How typical is it that you deal with fraud, and would there be any anti-fraud software that would help you as it relates to insurance?

Isn't that just the customers? How do you program an adjuster?

I'm sure there's fraud in every aspect of the insurance industry.

Several times a year there are articles about agents screwing over a bunch of clients on annuities and such. Pocketing the money and not turning it in to the company.
