If someone is in one plan and does app during AEP for another plan

and then you do a new app with them bringing them back to OG plan ,
even though you were not the OG Agent

Will you become the AOR?

No, it’ll be considered a duplicate app and will be rejected.

Why would it be a duplicate and rejected??

I wasn't sure If I would be AOR,
But outright rejected?

But you are allowed to make as many changes as you want during AEP

In fact I did that with my own clients in the past when someone switched them to another plan

none of them were rejected from returning

has this changed?

I thought OP was saying if someone has a pending enrollment for 01/01 and they try to enroll them into current 2024 plan during AEP would that change AOR.

Obviously if you change someone into previous plan in OEP you're now the agent.

Ok what I as the OP is saying I have a prospect who was in Cigna (with dif agent)

However another call center agent put her in WellCare, on the 15th for this AEP

she got the package and realized it was a downgrade and filled out my Facebook ad

I called and she just wanted to go back into Cigna

So I did the app for this AEP

I was wanting to know If I will be AOR or will it default back to previous Cigna agent

The same cigna plan she is currently in? That would be a duplicate app, I have never ever seen those go through

But someone enrolled her into Wellcare is the point

so she was being termed from the plan

So how would that be rejected

that would mean she is not allowed to reenroll into the plan again she would be stuck going to another carrier

this is what is confusing me

Not getting AOR would make sense

but not being allowed to go back into the previous company does not
I have done this with my own clients and never had this rejected before
clearly they were allowed to get their plan back thought that was a few years ago
and it does not even make sense

She would just call and cancel the pending enrollment, you can't enroll someone into a plan they're currently a member of.
