Does anyone have a good rebuttal when a lead tells you that they have plenty of coverage or their spouse says they have plenty of coverage?

How are you setting the appointment, off a cold call, lead (DM, internet, TM, etc.) or from a referral?

When is the last time you have had it reviewed? You might have extra benefits you are unaware of or you could have the wrong coverage type. It's also possible you could save money. It only takes about 10 minutes to review this for you. Is tomorrow morning or afternoon better for me to swing by while I'm in your area tomorrow?

I'm sorry I am not good with rebuttals I just go on to the next card. Just a matter of time till I hit the next prospect waiting to give me a check for $100.00 a month.

If your not willing to give any rebuttal at all I find it hard to make it in this business. If no one had to give rebuttals, doctors wouldn't be doctors and Lawyers wouldn't be lawyers. Everyone would do insurance. How long have you been selling FE?

They might have plenty of coverage but what if it's AARP or 2 new LH policies that can be crushed in price? If what they have is truely good, then moving on is no problem.

It's a mindset when you're dialing. The rebuttals are good to know, but you need to have a mindset that they knew they had the coverage when they filled out the card.

I do ask them who they have their coverage with. About 3 years all together. I am not a pushy salesman. If they have a need for it I will sell it to them but I am not going to push them that hard. I don't have to. I think that I have an advantage over most agents early in their career in that I have another business that in essence pays for my leads at this point. If I have a bad week or month it is not going to kill me, I just put more time in at my other business. It takes me about a day and a half at my other job to make enough to buy 30 leads a week.

I Door knocked an 80 yo woman yesterday who said she took out 20k for 50 mo a couple years ago, whole life, I said nope, we need to get your daughter over here for a review...If you can get in, I see above average close ratios for these sits

Yah. I would much rather have an appt with someone that already has life insurance. If they wont make an appt I make a note of the company that they have now and stop by.
