Lou who?

I just Googled Keymed underwriting and that was a link that came up.

Keymed is not approved in GA. Not sure I would use it if it was. Just trying to be helpful.

I thought Ohio rotated open enrollment every month with the top 12 carriers? Between that and risk pools / HIPAA why would anyone sell these limited plans?

For the most part, that is true. But not all carriers offer coverage in all counties. For example, if you are in XYZ County, you may not be eligible in April, May, June and July etc...

Also...the rates are abominable.

The commission is bad - regular commissions. Most of these other "min meds" you can get insane contracts on - why is this one so much better to get 1/2 the commission?

I am not in the mini med game - but I pointed this out to the Assurant rep and his response was "Well if you want I can terminate all of your appointments if you don't like our commissions".

Very Professional.
