Attained Age Vs Issue Age in Indiana

Mods, could you please move all the posts from that Humana thread to over here?
I don't think they fit in on that other thread.

What humana thread are you guys talking about?

I misplaced some posts, my fault, but we are getting back on track here.
Ms. Chuebel is going to explain the reason it is better to pay $70 more every month for 20 years to get a Physicians Med Supp over any other company.
She should be here any time now to explain.

First off I want to apologize for being off topic and thank you for moving the topic, but with all due respect why should I answer your question if you refused to answer mine tins?
Why have at least 10 states outlawed attained age medigap or medicare supplement plans?

I am not a she. Lets look at the whole picture shall we other wise its like asking term or permanent Let's look.In the 2002 and again in the 2003 Choosing A Medigap Policy: A Guide To Health Insurance for People with Medcare pp 34-35 it states, and I quote
* Remember, all monthly premiums may change and go up each year because of inflation and rising health care costs...
Caution: In general, attained-age-rated policies are cheaper than issue-age-rated policies the first few years you own the policy. However, rate increases for attained-age-rated policies are usually larger than rate increases for issue-age-rated policies. After a period of time, the premiums for an attained- age-rated policy will be higher than what the premiums would have been if you had an issue-age-rated policy."

Look at the20 yr history of your rate increases avg for plan F-G pmic is 7-9% (1992-2012) In 2013 My wife only had 7.99% rate increase and we get no discount.

I can show you an example of one the other companies that I have a contract for where one individual had 3 increases in less than 12 months at least 15% each time
As far as your question about cigna do they pay for all preventative costs regardless of medicares schedules. Take any company and go to the 3rd party website freeadvice.com and look at the graph results of the survey of customer satisfaction.
However, does Cigna or any other carrier offer any innovative benefits? This question is on page 28 on Choosing a Medigap Policy

----------

explain how someone else is better outside of the cost and if cost is the only factor see be low please
