BCBS C Plus in AL

Up In Smoke

Recently I have been talking with many folks in AL and many of them have BCBS, and for the Med Supps, C Plus seems to be a popular choice. I know this is a Medicare Select plan that is mostly just another type of Med Supp but with networks. It seems like a nice bargain to keep the monthly premium competitive. Can anyone who knows the market share with me some insights about his C Plus product? What other policies are its competitors?

This is a recent thread about BCBS Plus for Illinois. Probably about the same for Alabama.

Have you heard of Plan G Plus yet? (insurance-forums.com)

Blue Cross C Plus rates are higher than their competitors in Alabama. They have a huge market share because most employers in Alabama for many years have Blue Cross as their group medical plan. Once people retire, they pivot to Blue Cross for their Medicare Supplement or Advantage Plan.

Thanks! Any suggestions for competitive Med Supp carriers?
