Back in the day I used to hear that song and thought he was saying "dressed up like a douche."

Didn't have the internet to look up lyrics back then.

Looked it up now and it says "revved up like a deuce."

Who knew?

Anyway, "deuce" likely refers to the 1932 Ford Coupe that sported a powerful V-8 that was favored by hot-rodders and memorialized by the Beach Boys "Little Deuce Coupe."
