to get you their actual checking account# when all they have is a debit card#? Have a current case where I wrote the application with Americo since the customer chews tobacco to keep him from having a smokers rate. He doesn't know his checking account number that the debit card is based on and doesn't receive monthly statements in the mail. Probably gets them sent electronically to keep the bank from charging fees but doesn't have email/internet access so doesn't really receive the statements to get the number from there. Seems pretty simple for him to just call the bank or go by, but it's just one more step of time/effort, and questions as to why the cable company and others are able to take the debit card but not the insurance company. Just wondered if any of you had any helps or hints to motivate the customer to get this done. I've called and spoken with the girlfriend/wife a couple of times since writing the application two days ago. I haven't sent in the application since I'm waiting for this information first.
