@sbg_ben listening is a lost art. Too many think the objective in ANY dialogue is to talk over the other person and convince them they are wrong and you are right.

We see this often in social media . . . which is not really social at all . . . it is more like a cage match.

Yup. First thing I notice is when they are talking at me in absolutes and telling me what I should or do think. At that point they have already lost.
