Call center Advice

Can someone explain to me if i want to start a call center for auto insurance how am i suppose to make money when the average commision is $100. Can you also explain what is a fair commision structure too pay sales agents. I just dont see the profit margin here after Fees and paying commsion.

Welcome to our world. A few years ago we were at 15/15 on auto/home making decent margin. Now we are lucky to get 10/10, so ROE is razor thin if any. Carriers don't care. Don't like it? Move your book. That's what they say knowing that nobody wants the business.

Thats were Medicare is moving . It's ll about making profit and if the agent doesn't like it tough crap move your book . I laugh how agents think of themselves as indispensable . A company don't give too craps about agents.

To your point, I think we are indispensable on large, complex CL. PL (not HNW) is largely commoditized, along with small CL, so we will ikely be fazed out within the next 5-7 years just like travel agents were.
