Client's HR Won't Drop Them From Employer Plan

funny i have some extra widgets and washers laying on the ground from an E-Bike i recently had to assemble because of my RTFM deficiency.
I once took two non-working apple laptops ($25 each) that I bought from university surplus and made one working one out of them. I only had two screws leftover. 🤣

I slogged through the IRS website info on Section 125 employee premium tax rules & QLE, and the employer may allow dropping the plan any time after new to Medicare/Part B, but is not required to, and it is very important to confirm this. Also had a client who forgot to notify the employer at T65 and had to keep both supp and insurance until employer renewal to drop coverage. The client had a 30 day window, typical of group plans for a QLE. The employer's choice of the QLE specifics for new to Medicare/Medicare Part B, would have to be in the employer's Summary Plan Description.
