Two of my favorite companies are 5 Star and Am Con. One of the reasons is no current script check. Now that 5 Star is adding a script check I am looking for another carrier that doesn't do a script check.

Anyone know of any?

I don't understand why agents want companies that do not do script checks.. If a script check would result in a client being turned down and the company does not do a script check, then if there a death during the contestibilty period, then the claim will be denied. I would rather the denial be at the time of application instead of the time of claim. Of course, if the client makes it past two years there is no problem, but a claim denial can create a very expensive and time consuming situation for the agent.

You also have the problem with companies rejecting people solely for the medications they are taking. Many meds have more than one condition they may be used for treatment.

The worst looking part on the 5-Star meds looks to be the CHF meds that can be taken for a lot of conditions other than HBP. Hopefully they will handle that well. Time will tell.

The best thing for the agent is to have point of sale approvals so you at least learn of a problem at the sale and not a week later.
