In Montana All agents are to be called Producers and we don't use the Broker Term
I don't really like the Broker term, for the same reasons BlockO sited. Even though Florida says that's what we are here. According to state law brokers here legally represent the client and not the insurance company. Where as an agent represents the insurance company.

Technically speaking, a broker does not represent anyone until a prospect or client requests coverage; then the broker represents the buyer."
