I've been using liberty bankers life. Really good rates, have options to advance with DE card or pay as earned. PHI is a little long but they give you a answer at the end of the call if they're approved or not.

I haven't found them to have really good rates.
55 year old male smoker $10,000 : 49.70 a month.
Direct express is a little more.. 51.34 a month.
Not saying theyre the best. But at least competitive

You said earlier, "really good rates". I looked at them in the past because of the DE and found them to be outrageeously high so I didn't pick them up.
Of course I heard right here this week that OA has good rates too.
Does LB have super secret rate like OA?

I have not looked at the new rates they emailed a couple days ago. or even the app. Have you? What do see as the pluses or minuses?

I second that. And also be aware that LBL does not offer DE with all their plans. The only 2 plans they take DE on is the SIMPL (for ages 40-80) and the MWL (3 year ROP).
The non DE SIMPL plan can be used for ages 18-80.
SNL $44.95, 47.60 DE for the same case.
