I have a client with a very nice home on the water ($1mil+). He has about $100k in fine art and collectibles. Problem is he wants to start doing short term rentals like Air BnB. He is also considering going away for a year and leaving the house rented out furnished. In trying to get him a PAF they all exclude tenant occupied homes.
Anyone come across a market that will accept this? There are many luxury homes rented out furnished here in South FLorida. Do they just self insure these?
