Ratings don't matter, they all pay claims quick, and the agent provides the customer service....
You have to understand, some folks believe what their managers with captive companies tell them.

I would guess that he is the manager or works at the home office. He/she lives in the same city.
He's been touting United American on some other threads. Need I say more?

I just recently got licensed and would like to sell med supps.
Due to my lack of experience I think it may be best to go captive for a while. What are some good captive companies in Ca to work for? I am also interested in FE. Is one better to start with & focus on than the other.

I would personally focus on the med sups, bigger market you have 10,000 seniors turning 65 a day for the next 19 years, plus you make great renewals...You are also going to run into FE sales working the senior market. You dont have to go captive to get some good training there is independent agents that you can go under and they can train you, just be cautious as many people promise the world and dont deliver
