Group Coverage Accross State Lines

Hi Guys,


I have a quick question. My employer is switching health insurance companies from BCBS of Texas to Anthem Blue Cross as we operate in more then 5 states. My question is since Anthem is not license to operate in Texas can they offer coverage to us? I thought insurance company can not sell or cover any one across state lines. I know you can not buy a BCBS or Cigna plan from Florida if you are in another state.
