I've been thinking about sending a few groups to Benefitmall but I'm not sure if I want to do that or go direct.

If you're going to do the Benefitmall route, I would just find a GA that specializes in that market and commission split. You'll be paying for their expertise and higher than street level contract, but a good relationship has its value as well.
