I have several customers that are not able to get life ins on their kids for health reasons. Does anyone know if there is a company that has a guaranteed policy for kids. Would like to go as low on the age as possible at least 5 years old.:1confused:

Funeral homes all sell policies that will cover them GI.

I think a Western Southern has one too but just for captive agents.

It depends on the Conditions. There are many plans for SIWL-FE that go down as low as 6 mo's and medical conditions can still be underwritten.

  • Settlers
  • Assurity
  • American Amicable
Also, Gerber Growup plan also has very little in terms of medical conditions along with MOO/UOO Children's Whole Life.

Many options, just need to know the Medical conditions.

MoO (thanks Ben) ask very few questions. I have been able to write a couple real iffy deals. Also there are some non underwritten riders such as Assurity. $5,000 per policy. Mom and dad can each get one for a total of $10,000. There are probably others.

Another option would be the child/grandchild benefit through Settlers life that is automatic if a policy is written on a parent or grandparent. It only pays a one time benefit of 5K but you could cover any insurable children on their own policies or even on child rider with another policy on the parent. You would not make a claim on the C/GC benefit unless something happens to the uninsurable child. That would work until the child is old enough to qualify for a GI plan.

A few more with child riders are Sentinel Security(they also go down to 15 days on individual plans), Standard Life & Accident and United National.
