Need help from seasoned agents & gurus...
I'd like to focus only on home coverage policies & later on mortgage ins.only.
Just curious about competition from lender's favorites, title companies influences over prospects...
Is it easy ride for a new agent or am i targeting too high ?
Please do let me know before I invest money,time & energy...

Not many carriers want monoline homeowners. Title has basically zero influence of the buyer's of new homes (at least in my experience.) It sounds like you're thinking it's a great way to cultivate leads for life insurance, but I don't think it would work like you're thinking. Inspection issues will be a pain & you'll lose to home/auto packages all day long unless you have solid carriers. Solid carriers requires experience in P&C...volume...etc..See where I'm going?

Now if a spouse ran an agency...well that could be great. But it's not like you'll be able to just get all this homeowner's business & turn that into life. Again, at least IMO
