I am new to the thread but have been in and out of the business for about 10 years and full time for 5 years. I originally got into the business when my health insurance company filed bankruptcy. This left me with about $90,000 worth of medical bills that did not get paid by the state reinsurance for about 2 years! After starting over financially and trying to procure health insurance for my family I met with several health insurance agents that did not seem to know what they where doing and could not answer detailed questions. I thought to myself I could do this better and here I am.
I have contracted with a local insurance agency to place my P&C business through but I have started my own agency and need to find a MGA to run personal lines through. Any help, Ideas?
After reading through this site I wish I would of found this long ago. It would have really helped with some of the questions and learning curves.
