You still haven't answered the question as to whether or not you've spoken with the agency owner/manager about your commissions. What did he/she tell you when you asked?

my apologies..I asked and I was told on the 15th of every month and that day has come and gone TWICE.I then asked again and I got next week reply.Should I quit?and please answer my other questions also.THANKS EVERYONE!!I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CAREFUL BUT I THOUGHT I KNEW THE GUY!

Were they all home or auto? If so the commission for 7 policies might not be worth the paper its written on.

Well if he keeps putting you off, I think you have your answer. But I would clarify with him as to why you haven't gotten paid yet.
Are you appointed with the carrier or is he putting his name on the applications as the agent? If he is putting his name, you don't have much hope other than him doing the right thing. If your name went on the applications and you are appointed with the carrier, I'd call the carrier and ask them when you can expect to receive your commissions for these cases (it would help if you have the policy numbers).
Heck, I may would do this either way at this point. Maybe it would get the nest stirred a little bit. I would explain to the carrier what has happened and they may end up questioning your "boss". He may not like that too much. But at this point, you have absolutely nothing to lose.
