How Many of You Sold FE in Small Towns?

I live in San Antonio, Tex. Some others have said that door knocking for FE prospects in a small town(s) (Rio Grande Valley or south Texas) would be very productive. Have any of you tried this? what were your results like?

I beleive anything is better than doing nothing....

Door Knocking can work.

Might be better methods.

But at the end of the day, it is free to try.

I did it for a few months and had some success, but man, that's a lot more work than I'm willing to do now. I usually sold one out of about 30 doors that I knocked... the good new is those customers all have bought different lines over the last year or two since I door knocked them

I'm not sure if the communities in the Rio Grande Valley are even literate and can mail back DM pieces. I'm going to ask my upline what he recommends.

If you plan on door knocking than a rural area is defiantly where you want to be. In my experience any FE marketing is best done in small towns and out in the country.

Literacy is not the question with the people in the Valley. It's a different market and a lot of his has to do with the fact that it's a border town area. Believe me when I say its a tuff area. A lot of it has to do with the border town mentality.

I have door knocked in Indianapolis, Loiusville and many smaller towns like Seymour, IN Evansville, IN as well as rual areas.
The advice I give you is just avoid the dirt poor areas and the too rich areas. Middle class to lower middle class homes regardless of rual or city are your customers.
