Just had a member stopped at 6. Average is 12-18 visits, at the higher end when the doc owns the PT facility. We'll appeal but anybody else have run into this?
How many PT visits approved after knee replacement(MAPD)?

I got over 20 approved visits with OM + HD Medigap with a Hip Replacement.
No idea on MAPD. I doubt it would have been that many.
Were they stopped because they were only approved through a certain date and there was a delay in starting or couldn't get at least 2 a week so only had 6 or were they stopped because only 6 were approved? With OM I think the approval is usually for X number of weeks (Often 6ish) with the expectation of 2 a week. Then if the evaluation done at the end of that doesn't show enough improvement to be 'good enough' more is usually approved, usually with an end date again. Not sure about MA as I haven't run into that yet with anyone.
