Humana Appointment Taking Forever!

I filled out the forms through a GA back in June and still have not been appointed by Humana. I am told that I show up as "received" but that is all the GA can tell me until I am actually appointed. Is this normal?

I don't think there's anything "normal" about Humana, at least not in the normal sense.

This is what happens when the business prevention department; (ie: execs with masters degrees in business with not only zero sales experience, but don't realize how their bread is buttered) run departments.

Humana may be abominally slow but Coventry has a hiring freeze on new brokers until Jan. waiting to see what Healthcare reform will be like with the new blood coming in.

Our agency owner spoke with Humana this morning regarding getting appointed. He was told that due to the MLR restrictions, commissions will be cut 50% across the board on January 1st, 2011. Now, he's not so enthusiastic about getting appointed.

it's looking more and more like 10% is gonna be the new norm

although there's nothing norm about it
