How complicated is it to track your commissions?

Hey everyone, thanks for your help. I've found something that might work. VAM dB Free CRM Database Life Insurance .. Very reasonable on pricing, and completely customizable to your agency. If anyone has tried using this system, let me know.

Have you gotten anywhere with your commission tracking search? I would really like to know as I have looked forever for a company that offers the same services. We have been working with a software company for the past year building one out but it is taking forever. Let me know if you found anything you would recommend.
If you know how to work excel...then the best thing to do is to create a formula spreadsheet. I've setup one up that shows the following information month to month.
I input the monthly premium and months adv and it spits out the commission.
It shows what my remaining unpaid commission is if policy stays inforce.
What my average monthly premium is for the month
My total A.V or A.P is for the month
My Total commission for the month minus lead costs and more.
It'll basically do whatever you tell it to.
Really easy to make if you know how to use formulas in excel and even easier to use. Most of all its FREE.

Yeah, I have it in Excel now but it really starts getting out of control when you are dealing with mutliple carriers and a couple thousand clients. I was looking for alternatives to Excel.

I've been eyeing agencybloc, does anyone have any experience with them?
If you're looking for commissions tracking software I have it we built over the last three years I think it's bulletproof I run my agency on it and I've customize it for Medicare advantage, I FP, group, life. It tracks advances it will give you a running 12 month forecast as well as detailed client by client breakdown and multiple reports, that's why I call i the forecaster. I've not taken the time to advertise on the board but would be happy to share. P.m. me if you're interested in more details I would be happy to give a tour. The custom programmer that I have built this with is awesome and has 30 years experience. If you liked frank's old YIO, then imagine on steroids and then some :-)
Check out compgun, it calculates, tracks and administers sales commissions for teams of all sizes. Handles clawbacks or disputes and adjustments and makes it simple using an excel like syntax, maintains a record.

We can track commission for users or even by per carrier per agent type deal. I.E what you should be getting from a carrier compared to what you are actually getting..
