Inland Marine VS Scheduling on Homeowners Policy

Hey all,

First post here :) I work with Nationwide insurance and have been an associate agent for 3 years.

I have a client who has jewelry and expensive artwork she wants to schedule. I'd like to know what the difference is between actually scheduling these items on the homeowners policy VS writing an inland marine policy?

The homeowner's policy may have certain restrictions that require you to use an inland marine policy to cover the items. Otherwise I would just use the homeowner's policy scheduling, that is what it is there for.
