Insurance Broker working with Insurance companies!

Hello all,

I recently transitioned from being an insurance agent to insurance broker. I would like to know how would I work with Insurance companies?
As an agent I worked with a few FMOs to get appointed but now with trying to match potential clients with insurance companies its less clear.

What State and What line of Insurance are you referring to?

I assume life insurance, but...
