Good question. Referring to anyone with capability to offer IRA roll overs is likely also one of your competitors in the insurance business.

Maybe. Lots of "financial advisors" know next to nothing about insurance - except variable annuities.

Find an independent RIA/IAR, perhaps a "fee only" advisor who cannot or does not want to accept commissions from insurance sales.
