Started captive agent assistant in P&C at 24(2009)
Went captive agent in 2010
This month, switched to captive agent with New York Life. Thus far, liking the life side way more.

That's excellent! I've always thought Evansville has room for more NYL agents. Those NOrthwestern Mutual guys have it too easy.

Left law school unexpectedly, took an insurance sales job temporarily until I decided what I wanted to do. Here I am 28 years later - never went back to school, but I am still working temporarily figuring out what I want to do..

Who did you start with?

Met Life for 2 years. Prudential for 5 years.

I was in management at Pru when I decided to "step back" to personal production. Realizing that stepping back really meant starting over with a company I could not trust, I decided to go independent...
 
Started off on the investment side at 26, moved to an insurance platform at 29 after getting my CFP three years ago.
