Let's talk releases!

The solution is really simpe here. Provide a release and provide TOP commissions. IF you do not provide higher commissions then you better be giving out leads. No agents gives a hoot about how much money you spend in recruiting just as none of my clients give a rats ass about how much I spent in marketing to get their name. I do not pass the cost down to them(not that we could anyway) either and neither should you pass it on to agents.

The score at half time is, 45 - 16.

Joe, it looks like you are getting your azz kicked here.
You are going to need several of those Doug Flutie "Hail Mary" passes in the second half, to have a shot at pulling this thing out.

Bookmaker odds: 60-1, if that tells you anything.

At first Joe was just embarrassing himself. Now he is making a total ass out of himself.

SAI,

Great post! Might as well save your breath though. Doesn't look like he even has a clue.

One of my favorite sayings, "Time wounds all heels".

You seem to be forgetting that he "used to have a lady that would call agents and ask if they needed anything." Always love it when you get those calls and I ask what they can do. Well, "do you need any supplies or to have us run any illustrations." uhhh. No. I think I can run them myselves and send an email or phone call to the carrier for supplies with the same effort that it would take to contact you. "Have you heard about the incentive program/ trip to Peoria that Carrier XYZ is offering?" Uhhh. Yes. I get five emails a week directly from them and a flyer in the mail every other day. "Okay great. Let us know if we can do anything for you." Okay, what kinds of things do you do? "We are here for agents in case we can help in any way." Okay fine, have a nice day. "You too, let us know if we can help with anything else." Ahh okay.

You do that very well in a scary way. :D

They must all use the same "script". Sounds exactly like some of the calls I have received.

Ok Joe, I've got it simplified for you. I just got off the phone with a very big FMO. I asked him to clarify how he handles release requests. This is how that went....
...Oh that's real simple, first off, if an agent wants a release I have no problem with that. However my policy is to get the "new FMO" to sign a statement that if that agent wants a release from him back to me he will do that with no problem.
Furthermore, he said, if the "new FMO" won't do that, then the agent suddenly decides it's not a good idea to go with that FMO. I certainly had to agree with him!!
See how simple that is?
