I'm 26 and I live in the state of Ohio, I have no children and I'm seeking employment, However Ive been very sick these past couple of weeks. I cant eat or drink and Ive lost about 23 Ibs in two weeks.

I have a hernia and gerd, I was diagnosed with that 10 years ago, I was referred to a GI specialist at a local hospital but they turned me down because I don't have Insurance.

So I'm looking for some Individual insurance that I can pay monthly and that will except preexisting conditions so I can see a specialist. although most require you to wait 6 months to a year.

I've even considered getting an insurance agent in my area and I may still call around Monday to see how much that will cost.

I found this forum researching something else and was unsure if this forum was strictly for Agents to network or people like me who are seeking advice.

I am sympathetic to your situation however, what you are trying to do now is close the barn door after the horse has already gotten out.

Obama will fix this.

He already has.

Come 2014 Donna, and others like her will be able to buy insurance after they get sick and no insurance carrier can refuse them.

I suggest you look at current rates and triple them. That will be close to premiums in 2014 when everyone can buy health insurance.

They feel "entitled"!
"Entitlements" is such a PERFECT word for their handouts that are bankrupting our country.

Insurance is intended to cover future, unexpected events that MIGHT happen.
These people want Nanny-CARE.
GROWN people.....and they won't take care of themselves!

And, WE raised them!

I hope you find what you're looking for, the only advice I have is to be careful if you use an agent from this forum, check out their other posts and responses first, you don't want to end up being spoken about like this:

How did my feelings get hurt? I don't know them personally.

Seems more like your feelings got hurt because you know your behavior is wrong, and if you don't know it's wrong, well then maybe your parents never taught you these things, that talking about other people who are defenseless is total cowardice, but hey at least you're not a momma's boy huh?
