And they have no enforcement authority. You probably won't get a call. But they will fax a report at your request. If you are out of the business you can ignore Vector. But if you legitimately owe someone you should pay them. Companies use vector to scare agents. GCU was claiming I owed them money a few years that I did not. They wouldn't provide accounting just kept saying they would report it to vector by such and such date. I told them to go ahead. Then I would dispute it with vector and they would have to prove it. Time went on and they just started paying me again. I get paid by them every week now. They said they made an "accounting error". I heard the same story from several agents. So everything reported to vector is not legit. LS did the same thing. Claimed I owed them money but wouldn't account for it. It wasn't enough to vector or they would have. Don't kowtow to them. Make them show what you owe. Then verify. If it's not right don't pay. If it is then pay up or make a settlement plan.
