Manhattan Life New Medsupp

Re: Manhatten Life New Medsupp

Yeah I thinking the same might happen with Oxford Life as they are offering full comp on GI. Might just keep on sending my GI business to UHC, will have a ton this AEP.

Ya, UHC, Oxford and Aetna (ACI/CLI) are still the only ones paying full comp for now. I bet UHC will be the last one standing by the end of the year.

I think it is more to blame on Family Life and how AIMC manages the companies. AIMC has a track record of bringing in super low rates that only last a short while. Ex: AFLAC, Family Life, Sterling Investors, KSKJ to mention a few. Oxford has been paying full comp on GI the last 3 years in Texas and just took a rate decrease in many areas. American Continental pays full comp on both GI and over age 80 and has maintained rates better than Family Life or any other AIMC company that we have experienced.

Re: Manhatten Life New Medsupp

I've been getting emails about Manhattan Life and just received a phone call from AIMC to get appointed. I said thanks but no thanks. But why he asked. Because I have issues with the way AIMC does business.

No...AIMC is a national marketer, and Senior Marketing Specialists is an FMO/IMO that has to go through AIMC.

AIMC has 11 or so IMO/FMO's that they offer their top contract to. Either way, it all goes through AIMC, which is/has proven to not be a good thing!

Re: Manhatten Life New Medsupp

And don't forget where the contract winds up. AIMC is not exactly on anyone's favorite list.

I passed.

Rick

What a joke, another AIMC shell game! I can sell against them.

Go with a real company that's not located in Kansas Toto :D:D:D

You can't blame AIMC entirely for Aflac. Aflac was the one who pulled the plug on that deal. You missed CSI. I'd say they have done a great job managing that one and Sterling Investors also had a long run.

I think Manhattan Life is going to be great especially with their Spousal Discount.

That is a very unique spousal discount. Don't have to be married and if someone under 65 lives with them and is not on Medicare yet the client still gets the discount.

First of all, nothing is "very" unique. Either it's unique or not.

Second, Medico has exactly the same deal in some states.
