Mapd question for long time agents

Bingo with the health assessment correct . But what shocked me is I wrote a lot of new to Medicare . Also you might not know but anyone new to Humana is full true up . I got lucky or I couldn't have hit those.I wrote 27 of Humana direct transfers . And 10 days before aep ended United gave me a list of 47 people with non renewing plans . I wrote 18 off that list . All threw Connecture. Ifg had a mother / daughter do over 350 each . I'll be honest . I killed myself and won't do again . I ate, drank and slept this .

Yes anyone you write who's never had a Humana plan is the full $579 commission .

I'm reporting back as promised . Real Amg and me were correct. My original PPO plan was reinstated as the plan for 1/1 and I'm the aor. I will say this . At first the computer pulled it up as "potential duplicate " . I simply called my fmo who has great relationships with the carriers and explained the situation. I didn't feel like screwing with a customer service rep . In 24 hrs it was corrected and the plan I wrote continues in 2022 .

Of course you're staying the AOR. You put her on UHC before AEP, she signed up with other plans that were never active. She decided she didn't want those other plans but instead stay with her UHC.
You were correct that you would stay the AOR, I never said you wouldn't. I said, you can't go and write the same UHC plan she's already enrolled in.

They only needed to cancel out the other plans.

Incorrect . I had her with a Humana ppo . She switched to a Humama hmo . I switched her back to the original ppo . You said i wouldn't be the Aor anymore . She wasn't switched to another company like you alluded too.

Well then your initial post lost me then. I still don't understand it.
But, if you had her on Humana PPO and someone moved her to an HMO that did not go into effect, you don't write your plan again. She only needs to cancel the HMO app and it sounds like that's what your FMO did. He contacted humana. You can't write a plan that's already active.

Again I don't agree during aep . If she cancels the Hmo herself and says I want to keep my PPO then mine has already canceled and I'm not going to be the aor. You must rewrite it to be the aor . I'm not rewriting the same plan . Her ppo was terminating 12/31 and she had a Hmo effective 1/1. I'm replacing the 1/1 future active hmo with my ppo. Cms is only recognizing her 1/1 effective date of the hmo as her ppo is terminating 12/31.

All you need is enough cash saved up to run DM. If you're getting 40-50 leads a week you can get 50-60 of these a month. Jan - April you're making 20-30k per month like that. You can add 600-800 to your book per year. Hire someone to service the clients. Get them licensed. Have them start selling telephonically to replace what falls off your books. Stay in the field and repeat. This is how I built and continue to build my book. I have no idea why nobody will put in the work to do it. It's been absolutely life changing for me.
Congrats those monster #'s . I finished at 263, 29 hip's and 19 fe . I drove over 12 k miles and was out of town 31 nights . I worked all 54 days in a row . Sat and Sunday's were 2 to 3 appts . I 100% agree . The last yr has been life changing . But what I'm really excited about is it looks like I retained about 97% of my book . Since I only started a yr ago the book was small enough to reach out to all I'm the 3 weeks before aep . But now I must automate . The fmo is thinking of providing a administrative person for about 6 of us . Your correct you need help so you can 100% focus on selling. I'll start big mailing the end of dec for oep .
Congrats guys. With those monstrous numbers, I want to ask about your marketing techniques. What did you do, how did you set it up, and how did you get help by hiring people. I had set up a running system, and I did have more incoming calls than I can handle. Been thinking about getting some help. I would really appreciate it if you have some advice on getting quality helps.

You can not agree, that's fine. I've been doing this for 13 years and I know how it actually works. The PPO plan never canceled. It was scheduled to be canceled. The HMO was pulled, leaving your policy in place.

If what your saying is true why was the duplicate plan I did never cancelled with a 1/1 effective date ?You yourself said you only had experience with this 1 time .
