It's been said over and over again, "it's not the company but the manager who will break or make you". If you're not getting the proper training you need, why even stick around? Go someplace else where you can get the training needed, captive or otherwise.

Orphan policy holders often turn out to be orphans for a reason. They let their policies lapse causing charge backs. They probably bankrupted the previous agent. Invest in creating your own leads and leave no doubt on who owns the business.
I've had two calls today from new United of Omaha Medicare supplement clients wanting to know if their policy covers cancer fully. It look like Mutual of Omaha is sending out Cancer policies to them wanting to sign up for $9.95 a month through the mail. The letter explains how expensive cancer treatments are, etc. and it may not be fully covered by your insurance whether you have group coverage, medicare, etc.
Just thought I'd give you the heads up if you're clients call asking about this
