Anyone hearing rumors that Nationwide may be seeking to sale the P and C division. There are strong rumors in Ohio. This is from a friend who is a company rep for a competitor. He says many agents are hearing it.

Yeah, it's possible. With that said, carriers are always being bought and sold, consolidated, spun off, etc. It's a lot like the banking industry.

I can confirm with certainty that I have heard this rumor

Isn't it a mutual company still, meaning it would have to demutualize.

If I am not mistaken, Nationwide is originally the Ohio Farm Bureau & had still had affiliation with the membership side of Ohio Farm Bureau

It wouldn't surprise me. Offload it before they get financially downgraded
