People keep calling us to get off their "expensive" med supp plans... face it med supp peeps, MAPD is the future.
i got 3 calls this week . Aetna sup up 12% . Moo up 18% . Pdp’s up 42% . Business be brisk !!! Lol

Does that include the 4 supps I've written this week or should I wait until next week to start counting?

Friday morning I have a call scheduled with a guy who called in - he and his wife are paying $747 per month for their Plan G. He sounded stressed about that. He is stressed about that.
I'll run quotes on Plan G since they probably haven't had a rate review in years but you know I'll also show them a MAPD option for $0. We'll see how it goes.
On Monday I wrote a couple on MAPD for their 1st time. Their combined premium for Plan F was $612 to UHC.
Put them on a $34/mo MAPD w/ $3,150 Max OOP.
Their list of doctors: 12. Twelve. All in-network.
The Rx comparison? Saving him $892 per year, saving her $288 per year.

I forgot - he needs dentures. This plan has $2,000 and their dentist is in-network.

Good thing it was MAPD. If you'd written supplements they would have turned out to be "fake" clients.

Yea but did you look up ALL future doctors that he may need but doesn't know the names of right now or if he will ever need them?
