Need some help on this Medication: Pomalyst 4 mg 21 a month

Client has a WellCare RX plan and this drug is a Tier 5 drug. It doesn't appear to be eligible for assistance as he is on a Part D.

Does anyone have an ideas' for a relief for him as this will run about $500 a month for him.

I remember seeing something about a group that was specifically set up to help with this. Wasn't Bristol Myers though. Google Pomalyst financial aid. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll check.

Wait until 2025 where the OOP is capped at $2000...or beg for financial assistance from the drug mfg (Bristol Myers). Based on the TV ads, everything has a $10 coupon if you know how to qualify.

Else, I'll assume you are saying that he immediately enters the catastrophic phase, and 5% of a big number is still a big number.

Best he find a cheaper med that will not kill him.
