New P&C Agent in TX

I'm currently with a agency that sells life and health plans and I'm the only agent who has a P&C license that I recently got a few months ago. I'm in the process of looking for P&C insurance carriers to get appointed with. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I can get appointed with since I'm the only one with the license and currently the agency I'm with isn't registered or licensed to sell P&C products?

Unless you have P and C experience, it will be very hard to get contracts.

Maybe you can broker through a friend at another agency?
