New Senate report on agent commissions

Sorry if I didn't flesh that out well. We share pretty much all of the marketing money. We just don't get as much as the big guys so there isn't as much to give out. Same with OR. Sometimes I talk to agents who are getting $200+ in OR from their upline. That's more than we make so I can't match it.

I met someone last year who got an offer from Agent Pipeline for $100k+ in marketing and OR. That's just not our business model.
An individual agent got a $100 k offer in upfront money from agent pipeline ?Ive seen $25-$50 k .

All FMO's are different. Here's what I get:
1. Marketing money available monthly based on production.
2. One place for all my contracts
3. A quarterly newsletter personalized
4. Help with marketing pieces. I send them a sample, they make it personalized.

I really don't care about that stuff. What I DO care about is if I call in and I've got a problem, they better fix it. Because if I can't fix it, IT'S A MAJOR PROBLEM. Happens 1-2 times a year. I only have been told to call the carrier once. It didn't go well for the FMO. Like someone already posted, I know more than 99% of the people in that building. For the amount of money I bring in, fix my damn problems. If you aren't fixing my problems, you are bringing nothing to the table.

So where can i get more than the FMV for personal production without establishing a downline and how much more can i get if i am a consistent producer with a huge book of business? i don't need marketing money because because i am 100% referrals.

No one's going to talk about the deal they have . Thats up to each agent to work out . Plus massive uncertainty in regards to overrides ,marketing money and what will be commissionable even in 2026. Your book of business is worthless to a new fmo unless you're going to flip it to the new fmo with new plans . All the old plan overrides stay with your old fmo . Plus as an individual agent any overrides the fmo gives you are paid by them to you. They can cut you off at any time . Unless you're averaging around 250 plus new a yr you won't get more than $50 an app .

Doesn't matter if you "need" marketing money, it's money. You (can) get marketing money based on production not how much you spend on marketing. Think of it as an override on your own production.

If you are a consistent producer, you're forgoing several thousands of dollars if you're not taking advantage of marketing money based. Regardless of how much you spend marketing.
