Newby to MA --- beginners question ?

Breaking the rules you lose your contract? I'm under a guy that has 60 agents . Some real life situations . One guy got 5 founded complaints in 5 weeks . The 5 complaints said they were unaware somebody signed them up for a plan. He didn't lose his contracts . Just recently 2 separate agents during aep never contacted there clients and moved them to better plans without even calling them . Little did these agents know their clients were deceased 9 and 11 months . Oddly enough one of the plans went through . It took united 6 months to send them Grievences . Amazingly neither agent lost their contract. That was stunning . I've asked regionals of many carriers if many people lose their contracts. All said it's extremely rare. Yes its a big concern a carrier could easily screw you and term you for something little and steal your renewals .
Seems anything short of getting arrested will merely result in a slap on the wrist. Is it any wonder John Q. Public deems insurance agents to be nothing more than professional bullshitters?

Shame on the carriers then. In all my years I had one "complaint" I had to answer. The PDP client said I didn't tell him about the deductible. I forwarded the email correspondence between myself and the client where I discussed the deductible. Those emails also included the cost summary from Medicare.gov (long before S&S) and the Summary of Benefits. Additionally, I included his reply where he asked questions about the deductible. The carrier said the claim was unfounded. This is why I document everything.

When AEP rolled around I told that client I could no longer help him. He asked why and I told him. He was apologetic and apparently was in the early stages of Alzheimer's. I told him unless he had a POA over his healthcare decisions, I couldn't continue to help him.

I don't consider an agent bad because he got a few minor complaints . Some of the complaints carriers take are insane as hell . When I call to cancel future apps that a call center did reps with humana volunteer to take a complaint . They instigate it . Also we deal with 100's of humans a yr . Some people you can't please no matter what . It's part of the game

Which rules are you planning on breaking? Why are you so obsessed with this?
Bahaha... I ask a question and 'all of the sudden' I'm planning on breaking laws ???
