No Security Ever Built into Obamacare Site: Hacker

Thanks for the post! I wonder how this applies to the individual states websites? The Oregon website is probably safe because no one has been able to use it. What an epic failure! You couldn't make this up.

The problem, gentlemen, is that all of these sites, or "portals" are also "portals" into the hub, the multi-hundred-million dollar link between a bunch of major agencies, all of which have important information (and a TON of security). Once you break into one of these low-security portals, you've essentially bypassed much of the security of those "hub" organizations, and gained access to data.

It's like they installed a back door to Fort Knox, and never installed a lock.

Actually they framed the backdoor in but forgot to hang it.

Shhhhh, nobody is supposed to know about this.
If you mention this publicly, 2 things will happen:
1. The NSA will be after you
2. They will finally hang the door. It's sitting right there, I know, I walk past it everytime I need to pick up a bit more gold.

Whatever you do, don't tell anyone that they haven't paid the bill to the alarm company in 10 years so there are no alarms in Fort Knox right now.

If they do hang the door, it's a 50/50 shot that they'll include a door knob and lock, or just leave it swinging.

In addition to no alarms, there is no sensor on the missing door, and the security team isn't really sure if the door is actually there.

Geeze, I'm thoroughly reassured now. I've already had credit cards stolen a half dozen times, can't wait for cards to be opened in my name without my knowledge, probably to pay for health insurance (or flatscreens, or gas, like the last times).
