Personally, I picked Todd BECAUSE he has the balls to tell people to F off if he wants to. I prefer a straight shooter even if I'm his target. Others need it sugar coated. They probably get a lot of "I want to think about it" .. "Sure Mrs. Jones I understand" as well!
YEA, history is loaded with stories of successful businesses that told clients to F*** off. From what you are saying you tell your clients to F*** off otherwise you would be getting the 'I need to think about it" objection. Yea right. Wait, that probably does work in Pennsylvania or New Jersey. I think Penn was voted the most illiterate state in the country but it's not like anyone there read about it. (see, that's sugar coating that you people are stupid). lol You can be a straight shooter, telling it like it is without name calling and insults. And leaving out the childish name calling and insults is not sugar coating it. Follow Newby, he does it all the time. Same with 360. They know how to be professional straight shooters. Hey, sorry in advance when the Penguins will choke again this year! hahaha
Debit or former debit agents will understand this...."Tell the inshorance man I ain't home."
If you have an appt and get stood up, do you guys try to call them back? Or just scratch it and move on?
Call from the porch, leave message, leave card etc., and then feel free to door knock them on your way home at 9 or 10pm any old time you like. I don't take them out of my call list, but I wont chase them either.
At AIL, we used to leave a note that stated a new appt time on the half hour, and to call if thats not a good time.
